Sasha Jae was born January 22, 1986 in St. Catherine Jamaica. She later moved to New York City at the age of 11 with her parents and 4 sisters. She began singing at the age of 2 years old and later joined her church youth choir where she was one of the lead singers for many years. As she grew older and her voice became stronger she began doing background vocals for a few local upcoming artists as well as dubs for local DJ's. With influences like Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, and Alicia Keys (just to name a few), Sasha Jae has grown into a phenomenal woman, an ideal singer and a great songwriter. Her voice is very peculiar and her writing style is one of a kind. After having her daughter she became even more motivated and determined to make it in the music industry.
